WXBJ-FM is a Non-Commercial radio station located in Salisbury, Massachusetts. WXBJ signed on in Feburary of 2014 and is "The Seacoast's Oldies Station" playing the greatest hits of the '60s, '70s, and '80s.
Our Founder, Jay McDonough
COOL 94.1 would not be here if it wasn't for the vision of Jay McDonough who believed that a radio station was needed to serve Salisbury, Newburyport, and the surrounding communities. He believed it had to be live, local, and entertaining. The 'Seacoast Oldies station went on the air playing music from the '50s, '60s, '70s and '80s.
We lost Jay in November 2019 but his legacy lives on at Cool 94.1
